Abominant's debut album was originally going to be released with the first 7 tracks on Halloween 1995 through Arctic Circle Records. 2 weeks before the release date, the label closed. Abominant then signed with Wild Rags in 1996, who wanted more songs for the release. They recorded 3 more tracks and then released the album 1 year to the day from its original intended release date on October 31, 1996.

The album has been remastered and has a slightly different cover.
